Hi,

Does anybody know the meaning of the following markings:

- M.X.B
- a symbol which looks like two 3/4th open concentric circles with a small letter s in the center.

Regards,

Jf

Jf,

The concentric 'C's are believed to be the mark of the Canadian Cartridge Company.

It is quiet common to find a three letter string beneath the monogarm, trademark on Canadian cases of WWI vintage. The significance is as yet unknown, I would guess at it being some form of 'Lot' identifier.
