Hello,

Does anybody know the meaning of the letters DM39, which can you see on attached picture 260a(40mm Belgian anti aircraft shell)?

The meaning of the letters MS on picture 304a (37mmx94mm French shell)?

In actual NATO designation, DM will say "Deutch Model", German construction.
We know that the german industry, before and during WW II used ammunition coming from FN.
We know also that belgian army buyed ammunition on Germany.

Make your advice.
