RDAF Bomb Practice (inert)

Hello all !

As a new member (and so far non-collector), I hope that somebody can help. I have picked up this little gem at a local flea market in Copenhagen.
It is obviously meant for bomb practice, as the markings read RDAF Bomb Practice M12 FFV. So "Royal Danish Air Force" air dropped inert practice bomb I take it, but I can find no other
info and may previously have come across a similar item on this good Network. I imagine it to be post war, so any inputs, threads, advice...? I am clearly not in my comfort zone on this one, so please forgive my ignorance when it comes to ordnance. Any info is wellcome...

Thanks

Not always a INERT practice bomb. When stored its is FFE, but when ready for use it will have a signal cartridge behind the nose fuse or contains a marker cartridge.

For the Mk 106-series (almost the same as the Danish M72) the Mk 4 cartridge contains Red Phosphorus, the CXU-1/B, CXU-3/B and CXU -3A/B cartridges contains Titanium Tetrachloride and the cartridge Mk 5 Mod 0 contains paint. This last one is for marking of sea targets during practice.

This where the cartridges in the time I was on active service, maybe there are now new cartridges in use.

Great pics, not came across this fuze on one before, attached files I have on NATO practice.
