Rifle Grenade vs 40mm

Finally, somebody bought the old site and is keeping it up and running. http://www.combatreform.org/riflehandgrenades.htm I agree with just about every person on this site on the subject of Rifle Grenades vs any 40mm set up that is available.

I have always been a proponet of the R/G in use within our military instead of the 40mm. I believe that R/G's have more advantages over than any other.

I think that rather than giving a few squad members 40mm UGLs for inaccurate short-range fire, I would want a couple of dedicated grenadiers armed with repeating medium-velocity grenade launchers (600-800m range) with advanced laser/computer sights and airburst available. The rest of the squad could carry rifle grenades when needed.
