Cutaway model of the hand-grenade SRG-66 to engage frogmen and to send signals to submerged submarines.
The grenade has the form of a cylindrical flashlight, in which a fuze and a charge of TNT is installed.

Function: Unscrew the safety cap and switch from the safety position in the armed (The detonator is put into position) . After throwing the grenade into the sea, Water will penetrate into the grenade through the holes and pressing on the membrane. The Membrane at the pressure of the water begins to put pressure on the arming pin, moving it downward. At a depth from 7-13m, the arming pin reaches his final position, the spring-loaded firing pin being released from the safety balls, ignites the detonator which will ignite the main charge.
