Your very welcome my friend! For a while there it looked as though we had lost the fight. Personally, I think they had gotten a tremendous amount of mail or coresspondence that they could not do otherwise?
 
Well folks, it look like the A-10 will stay.

I guess that CAS is not so cool as dogfights but I doubt that F-35 will excell in any of them. Well shooting the AMRAAM BVR is not even a dogfight.
off topic: I wonder when they start to put the AMRAAMs on AC-130 :)

The plane just evaluates that the faulty part is the padding between the seat and the stick.

Yep, I saw that article a couple of day ago. There was comment in one article I read whereby one person stated that the B-1 could do CAS. I wouldn't be calling in a B-1 for CAS if I were in a situation and needed it now. The first thing I would be told would be a big "Negative" by our ETACs because it would cost way to much. This government will never learn.
