I got this in a swap a few months ago and have been itching to cut it just to see what's in there. Well, the case was easy enough to cut and then I was faced with what looked like a solid block of tar.
It got soaked in white spirit for a week.............and all sorts of interesting things appeared :hmmmm2:
I'm thinking about investigating the top bit now.
Dave.

Yes, thats the condenser - looks like a nice job you have done there Dave. Hope the rest of it turns out as well when you get round to it.

Thanks Kev.
I've been thinking about the next step in this project.
The problem I have now is how to take the rest of it to pieces to get at the insides.
The 3 screws unscrewed from the top easily enough - but what now??
Does the bottom part of the case unscrew or slide off (is stuck solid).
Does the top part of the fuze unscrew?
Do I need to unscrew the other screw on the top of the fuze?
Any advice on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Dave.
