suppose 12cm shrapnel...but...help!

i suppose this is 12 cm shrapnel shell but still need nationality and conformation. cigarette pack is for scaling!

It looks closer to 155mm/6 inch instead if 12cm/4.7 inch compared to your cigarettes.

Yes it is Shrapnel shell , Austro-Hungarian, with timing fuze M-12 a. But I think that is 15 cm. shrapnel for field howitzer M-99, and latter model.

i will not say different...but if anyone can give some details...i have been searching in 'Notes on German Shells-second edition' but i am not sure what is this due i couldn't find shell either 12 or 15 cm with driving band cross-section and gap under ogivale that corresponds with shell on photos.
