Two USN petty officers escort a very young sailor from Norfolk, VA to Portsmouth Naval Prison, Maine https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070290/ to serve an 8 year prison sentence, for trying to steal $40. The prison is manned by the Marines (I have no idea why). A big throw back to the Nam era of politics, social life, funny looking cars and people smoking in buses and trains. You'll barely recognise several actors who've become big stars in years to come.
