Unfinished 40mm Bofors

A recent find ,what appears to be an unfinished 40mm bofors case,untrimmed length 320mm with an uncut rim.
Was told a few people had turned it down as it was 'homemade' so got it for a bargain price!

Looks a bit like my strange 47 mm item (I think it is also an unfinished Bofors case).

I am starting to get into these oddities/unfinisged cases.
I have 2 very nice 40mm cases one is an L60 & the other is an L70.
Both are complete/finished, cases but no headstamps.
I can only assume they came from the same factory at the same time as they are both the same colour & condition.
There is no evidence of any defects or reason for rejection
