Unknown 47mm round found at Ft Benning, GA

This is another request for help.

This time, it's an unknown projectile found at Ft Benning, GA. It was described to me as being a 47 mm round, and that's all I know.

Here's what it looks like:

I'll ask the chap who passed this along to me for a better photo, but...

Most likely a 2-1/2 or 3 Pdr. Better photos would help, like from the sunny side of the projo, one of the base to show a fuze if any and one of the nose, all close-ups.
