Hi all,

Can anybody tell me more on Oerlikon made 20x81 MG151 cases? Cases are wartime dated 1944 and I have seen 2 LOT numbers (53 and 102). Cases are steel and laquered. I am also interested on the logo shown at 3-o-clock. It looks like PSW or WPS.

Regards,

Kornel

I have seen a more modern Oerlikon case with this mark before. Sccording to information online it was Press und Stanzwerk AG (Presta) of Liechtenstein.

PSW is 'Press und stanswerk, Vaduz, Swiss'.

This (modernized) logo is indeed found on modern Oerlikon cases like the 35x228.

Switzerland adopted the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in WW2 and manufactured MG 151/20 guns and ammunition, both for their own use and for Germany.

Interesting, would have never known if I did not find these cases.
