I picked up an M14E1 a few weeks back that had had the top plate activated and had numerous chips resulting from attempts to reset it. I decided it was an ideal candidate for sectioning.

it’s worked out OK, but I still need the base closing plug and a safety clip. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks
