Photos and an instruction sheet of a US XM-124 Electrical Demo Firing Device circa 1970. Unit measures 1.250 Inches x 3.0 Inches x 4.250 Inches and weighs 13 once's. Designed as a pocket sized demo firing device / continuity tester capable of detonating 10 Military Caps In Series with 500 Feet of WD-1 Wire. Sealed disposable battery operated unit, with a rubber body cover and 90 Volt Capacitive Discharge System. Reportedly scrubbed during field testing due to the ease of users accidentally / unintentionally firing charges while attempting to perform circuit continuity testing.
On a side note I recently preformed a voltage test on this unit and found that it is still putting out 45 Volts (After 40 Years)!
