Uxo identification

Hi,
This one looks small.
Not easy without dimensions and picture of the top head.
So I think marking 1kg500 is for the weight.
Proof shots used to be marked with weight.
The band is left rifled, common for old navy guns (and short range training)
So here is my guess : french 47mm proof shot flat head (short range). If I'm right it's the first time I see it.
 
Hi, it seems French Navy to me. It is dated 1938 , so interbellum, found in Brest and the grooves are to the left, typical for French Navy. To be sure we need dimensions.
