Hi,
Hopefully someone will be able to help me out with a few questions I have on the UZRGM and UZRGM-2 fuzes. Note: the numbers below reference the photo.
1. Firstly, whats the difference between the UZRGM and UZRGM-2 fuze?
2. What does the 354 represent on Polish made fuzes?
3. What does the P-08 represent on Polish made fuzes?
4. Is the 71 in the photo the year of manufacture?
5. What do these numbers mean?
6. What does the N(reversed) H & 22 in a circle mean on Bulgarian made fuzes?
7. What nationality are these fuzes and what does the ink stamps mean?
8. What does the 533 mean?
9. What does this symbol mean?
Thanks for your help.
Colin

Hi!
#2. Polish manufactured code 354 - Bydgoskie Zakłady Elektromechaniczne Belma Bydgoszcz. http://www.belma.com.pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=18&Itemid=40&lang=pl
#3. Parts - 8
#4. Yes

n3) P-08 is the Plant number 8 of the Belma factory.
n6) is the cirillyc "IN" for INSTRUCTIONAL; 22 is the "Arsenal" factory code.
n8) is the factory number 583 ex-URSS
n9) is the cirillyc "GM"

Hello,
6 - This denotes INERT (IN in Cyrillic).
Concerning UZRGM-2 fuze, I've been interested in this question for years. Must say, that even in Russia this is unclear question. In common - UZRGM-2 is slightly modified UZRGM: the washer on the striker is caught here below and above (instead only below); striker with its point are with slightly different form; rectangular instead round holes for safety pin at the fuze's body; different delay mixture etc.etc.

Thanks for the great information. By the time these fuzes make it over here the parts have generally been mixed and matched. This makes it hard to be sure what part belongs to which assembly. Attached is a photo of two differing types of head assemblies I have. The greatest difference is the spring length and firing pin. Cheers Colin

Still need a picture of UZRGM-2, marked that way on its safety lever.
Here 2 pictures for you, to be able to sort your parts; second one is practice-UZRGM (in fact Russian type).
