Nice case on this one,so after a lot of bargaining and thankfully common sense shown by the dealer then the round comes back with waffster! :)

1940 case in lovely condition. The round came with the wrong fuze so ive put on this 'build up' project i had in the collection.
The proj and the impact fuze it came with will be up for grabs shortly unless someone has a spare steel case for sale??

In the meantime, please have a look at the pics.

cheers

Hi Waff,
What's wrong with the fuze? I think it's the correct 30 sec. time fuze. Both the case and shell look like being Finnish Army surplus.
If you miss a primer for the case I have plenty of good German ones for spare.

Hi T,
The fuze shown is the one im building up. It came with a AZ23 impact fuze not shown my friend.
I may take you up on the primers if i cannot find spares in the collection room. :)

best

No problem Waff,
AZ23 also was used with 8,8cm Flak against ground targets so it's not totally wrong:tinysmile_twink_t2:

Sorry about my previous inaccurate information, it is not AZ23 but AZ23/28 that was used as impact fuse in 88 Flak.

Hi Waff,
Good find, that is a stunning brass case, i could do with finding a few more of those myself. Will you be removing the Finnish stenciling from the case to put it back to its original state, well minus the German stenciling that is.
Best Weasel.

No matter if it is ex-Finnish or ex-Mars case, it is a lovely brass case in mint condition, nice purchase Man, very nice. :top:
