WWI Russian 1917 Gas Grenade

Hi, here's some pics sent to me by a friend of the 1917 Russian Gas grenade. I thought maybe some others would like to see it also.
He said he bought this about 10-12 years ago, and it is one of around 30 of these Gas grenades were bought for use in an old early 20's Hollywood movie. Not sure about this, but could be completely possible.
Either way, not too bad condition for an almost 100 year old grenade. The carry hook is broken, few small dents and small plug and fuse at top is missing. I would make a repro. plug and fuze for display if it were mine but it's not.............(or find original if possible)
I like the skull & Crossbones! nice touch

Steve

Hi Steve, These Russian "bottle grenades" used to turn up on ebay before the ordnance ban. Seemed like they went for 250.00 - 300.00US for really nice ones. I recall at least 5 that were sold on ebay "back in the day"...Dano
