AZ 73 A2 Ub?

Hi,
Finds from Poland;
German nose fuze
AZ 73 A2 with "something" unknown on top. Inside, olny some black plastic. Looks like practise fuze.
Any ideas?

Nice! I havnt seen one like that before but ive always thought `Ub` meant for training or practice purposes?

Its an interesting item the AZ73A2 never normally had anything other than a steeel closing cap on it, the black shiny thing inside could be Black pitch to stop a live gaine being screwed into it , any idea of where it came from if Richlin then it could be experimental

This fuze was find in Poland, on old Luftwaffe Proving ground, with a lot of other bomb stuff, also practise.

Ok thanks for that information the AZ73A2 i have is made of Brass yours appears to be Mazak ?
