British No38 MkII ND nose fuze this is an instaneous fuze .
This example is marked..
Top "No38 MKII ND" (The ND indicates that this fuze has no delay and functions instantaneously on impact)
Side Top section "CY 4 42" (chorley april 1944) 720
and a very small stamp on the upper main body S L B 6

Used in anything in particular, or general all around use?
 
according to Op1665 used with L.C 30lb mkI & mkII,and also with 30lb I.B MkI & MkII

Hardly seems right, a Brit using a US pub to ID Brit bomb/fuze combinations?
