I've shown it next to a more familiar King Tiger round for scale.

Listed in the Robert Hawkinson cartridge list with the same dimensions is:
"105mm T 43, 26mm Screw in Adaptor for Electric Primer, solid 11.6mm THICK Rim USA Tank"

There is no mention in the Hawkinson book of a British version.

Does anyone have any photographs/information about the American version or better still of the British one. It would be interesting to know what sort of projectile went in this. Was it for example ever considered as a weapon for the 120mm Conqueror?

Then there's a bunch of German cases in the 7.5 cm range which seem very close but I dont know the rim diametre of these. The only head stamp is what looks more like an upsidedown V rather than an A over the G. After a bit of a workout I freed the projectile from the case because I could see the markings on the bottom of it. Although maybe not a match for this case, it would be interesting if anyone could help i.d. this too. What era would these be ? An other puzzle to me as I never see something like this. I do not know why I'm tinking shot round even if I there is no visible driving band. Actually I'm not even sure if it's a piece of ammunition.
Seem to be around 10-12 inch long and maybe 3-4 inch diameter. Again, I apologize for the lack of information given here as I did not see the piece for myself yet.
Like I said, I'm not even sure if it's a piece of concrete or metal.
As always, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
