Hi Guys
Need some help here!
Having a bit of a sort out & found these - The 1st item think I `picked` up at RAF Odiham!! 2nd at RAF Bruggen!?
1st item has CF & a couple of `crows feet` arrows on it.
Dia is 7/8 ths of an inch & 3 & 1/8th long. Solid steel with a brass tip.Chrome plated. No drive band but by marks around base has been in a case? No crimp rebate.
2nd item 50mm long. Head is outer dia of 12mm inner dia of 8.9mm.Pojectile dia of 8.9mm.
Nickel plated steel.
Is this an adaptor or armourers measuring/guaging casing?:eek:oh:

Spotter - no probs.
Yours is very similar. I noticed the dimples near the base - for retaining in the case would be agood guess. at least yours has a date.
I was told years ago that mine may have been a reps sample - hence the chrome? - but if that was the case why the crows feet? They are usually put on once an item is Ministry contracted.
