Air Burst
This picture is of naff quality and does not begin to come anywhere near the previous pictures, however I thought it might be of interest to someone as it is a little unusual.
It is an 8 inch High Explosive (M106 I believe) shell fitted with air burst fuze and caught at just the right moment.
Naff quality due to 400 ASA film with a 400mm Lens with doubler and hand held (recipe for naff photo if ever!) on a not too brilliant day at the Larkhill public demonstration days back in the good old 70's
Also a Helicopter firing 2.75 in rockets
And an old target tank receiving a direct hit from a 105mm Practice SH round.

20ltrs fuel, 2onz PE4, gelling agent and some det cord
Nice and neat, but why did you blow it in a shed?
I have been an Armourer and ammunition technician for 30 years and the most fun I have had is EOD! And its still great!
