Made entirely of the easily mouldable explosive Nipolit this German WW2 grenade is cylindrical with 4 cavities down the side. It has 4 holes through the body, from top to bottom.
As a grenade it used the pull-friction fuze like the egg grenade.This one is shown with a pull igniter as a boobytrap .It could also be fitted with a fragmentation sleave.Other grenades were also manufactured entirely from Nipolit including Stick and Eihandgranate
