Makers mark on 2Pr No.2

Hi,

This friday I bought two quite unpolished 2pr cases for a reasonable price.
Now I'm cleaning them for a bit and most of the markings have shown up, however, some of them are unknown to me.

Who was this AIC (Could as well be AIO, as it is very lightly stamped)

Primer made by MGM in 1943, who was this MGM?

Thanks in advance,

Thomas

AIC - Apex Inflator Company, Aldridge Road, Perry Bar, Birmingham. Manufacturers of bicycle pumps and celluloid mudguards.

I don't have access to my lists at the moment, I'll check on MGM tomorrow.

Thanks Tim, I've never seen this one before. Do you know if they made other cartridge cases as well?

MGM - Metropolitan Gas Meters, Hyson Green Works, Nottingham. Tel.: 75263. Telegrams: "Gasometer, Nottingham"

I would have to check, but I think Apex only made 2Pr cases.
