Has anyone made up repro increments for the US 60mm mortar rounds. The increments are the small, tea bag looking, bags that come attached between the fins of the mortar rounds. If so how did you do it?
Photos of the real thing. Nitrocellulose is 0.975 X 0.975 X 0.162 thick. It is flexible like rubber, and can be folded enough so two opposite corners will fit through the grooves cut in the fins, so the spring will push into the hole in the center. Covered with a clear cellophane wrapper that has been sealed on all four sides. Under florescent light, they were a little darker than the photos appear.
The "real thing" means they are real propellant increments. Nitrocellulose measurements mean the measurements of the propellant inside the cellophane. Measurements are in inches.
