Help ID:Unknown mortar fuze.

There is a shotgun cartridge on the fuze.
Headstamp of the shotgun case :12 12.
The fuze from the China.
I can't find any information. Who can help me?

Were there any other pieces or complete ordnance found in association with this piece? That could give an indication of country of origin or munition type and help identification. Why do you say mortar?

This fuze comes from this mortar shell:

This artillery shell was unearthed in China without any identification. I can't judge the type.
 
In the past these mortars were always identified as Chinese. If I recall correctly they have at least one projectile and I believe the weapon also in the military museum in Beijing.

It's interesting that a 12 gauge shotgun shell is used as an improvised point detonating fuze. Cheers, Bruce.
