Original text book of ammunition 1926

I stumbled across this on ebay. Not often you see the original version of this one.

    Hallo,
personally I think that 25,-Euro is expensive for the CD, compared with 200 Pounds for the original book. I got my digital copy for free, which has no real collectors value. A rare book will nearly always rise in price, so that it always has collectors value. I love books. There were quite a few offers of CD's that I did not take up, but if it would have been original prints, I would have bought them. Before the digital revolution I used to photocopy books that I could not buy and had them bound. These copies also have only an information value like CD's and never a collectors value.

I got my original copy of this 1926 edition for AUD$50 - about £26-27. The seller was going to give it to me for $20, but I just couldn't take it for that being such a nice and rare book. I insisted on $50 at least.

Data on CD is not a collection object, but information. And the Matrialien and time to produce the CD must indeed be paid. Today you rarely get something presented.

You are a lucky man @darkman. But, for somebody not interested in munitions subjects, the book is of no value. My dear mother(RIP) had a big collection of old religious books up to a 100 years old. For nearly 2 years I searched for people who would appreciate a present like this. Only for a fraction of the books I found people to present them to, the rest was thrown away. It makes my heart bleed, but thats the way it is.Bellifortis.
