    NSFF Chilwell Paperweight.

I bought this paperweight recently, i just liked it, I thought I would share some images on here. The former NSFF is well documented, and I believe there is at least one book available on it.

The brass plate on the top is engraved " The wood for this paperweight was from the floor of building 157 COD Chilwell, a former store shed of the NSFF, built in 1915"

The King's crown side of the plaque reads : National Shell Filling Factory Chilwell The VC Factory 1915 1918.
The Queen's crown side of the plaque reads : Central Ordnance Depot Chilwell RAOC 1936 1982.

"Smoke me a kipper, i'll be back for breakfast!"
