German reload marks.

Hi. Would this mark next to the x indicate a reload? I’ve normally seen them on the outer edge on the base.

When I see reload Mark's, for casings I have, they normally go around the outer circumference of the base not next to the X. Also the X refers to the month of production in Roman numeral, as marine cases dated the month in Roman numeral, whereas army casings of German military did abbreviations of the month name. I believe that is just a blemish not a reload mark, search the outer edges of base. That's where you find them in my experience
