Going to a country school for the first 6 grades of Grade School in the 60's, I watched B-52's and KC-135 Stratotankers flying overhead quite often, and Sonic Booms were very common all the time. I was always fascinated by the B-58 with it 4 huge engines and weapons/fuel pod on centerline. I saw my first one in person at the Pima Air Museum in Tucson Arizona. It was Huge, and a long way above the ground for the crew. It just looks fast!

It was a marvellous looking plane. The first model I ever made. It was not very successful and did not remain in service long.
