    No 23 tail pistol

    Picked this up today so I thought I would share some photos.

    This pistol was used in the Smoke Float sea marker, amongst other types.

    No23 MkI Tail Pistol is similar to No23 Pistol except that the body is made from a black
    plastic material.
    Any Live or Dug ordnance shown by me has been disposed of by EOD personnel .

    Appears to be pre WW2. The very small markings are: No23 JB 6-1938
