WW1 British Naval Tool

Can anyone identify this tool and say what it was used on? One of the two examples has the wooden handle missing. Depotman

For fitting fuzes. I don’t know on which munition. Ones sold previously on eBay say they are for grenades. The photo from the internet shows one with similar markings to yours and may help with the shape of a replacement handle.

If these are Naval items, would they be for inserting or removing the protruding primers used on many Naval cartridge cases?

Hi They all look very similar for tools to open wooden boxes eg C121 and others . Hope this info helps

You are right. I used to use this key to open Cases Powder Metal Lined (CPML) C118, C119 and C121.
