Used on smoke (Nebel) and 15cm Hl (Heat).

Thank you both for your reply I think you have got it MINENAZ16 as this fuse is to small for the 8.8 or 7.5

Kl Az23 series was also used on 7.5 and 10.5 (shells with different shape and small fuze thread).
As far as I know "Nb" fuzes were only used when delay was not desired.

klAZ23umg fuses are not hard to find. However, that is the first klAZ23Nb fuse I have ever seen - even a photo.

Thank you all for your input , I found a few of these in Lapland Finland ,when i get around to it i will post them for sell

Hi,
here is a list of projectiles, I have found in WW2 manuals, that could use the kl.A.Z. 23 Nb fuze:
7,5 cm Nbgr.
K.Gr. rot Nb
7,5 cm Gr. 34
7,5 cm Gr. 34 (Üb)
7,5 cm Gr. 34 (ÜbT)
7,62 cm Sprgr. 39
F.H.Gr. Nb
F.H.Gr. Gn
F.H.Gr. Gb
F.H.Gr. 38 Nb
F.H.Gr. 38 Bu 2
F.H.Gr. 38 Gn Gb
F.H.Gr. 38 Gn 1
F.H.Gr. 39 Gn 3
F.H.Gr. 39 Gb
F.H.Gr. 41 Nb

The use in HE rounds is documented towards the end of war. Firing HE rounds from a tank or stug gave IMHO little time to fumble with fuze setting anyway.

There was an AZ 23 Nb however, which was mainly used with the smoke shells of the 15 cm s.FH.18; s.FH.36; lg.s.FH.13. And I believe also with the 15 cm s.FH.15 (t); s.FH.25 (t) and s.FH.37 (t).
