Drew, in photo 26 do you know the price of the 17pdr drill round?
Wanted: Baton/Irritant rounds (inert) and associated items, .700 NE (inert) and boxes (empty), .32-40 cartridge boxes (empty), WW2 British shotgun cartridge boxes (empty), Greener Police Gun cartridge boxes (empty). Message me if you have any of these items for sale/trade.

Yep - $600 AUD (which is probably around $100 USD the way our dollar is heading...........)

The Seller is relatively new - he was at the last show with basically all the same items (wonder why?) and somewhat pricey IMHO.

Having stated that, first time I have seen Tiger 88 cases for sale + a handful of after uncommon German cases.

    Cheers

Nice show. Thanks for the pictures. I have not been to a Sydney gun show for years. Were they REAL Tiger cases though or the normal 8,8cm Flak cases ?

Not sure as I didn't examine them - assuming it should therefore have a head stamp markings of: KWK43 for the King Tiger or Tiger 88?

For those prices the Seller will probably still have them at the next show...

Pity - I was looking forward to catching up and swapping some insults!!!! (just joking)

Perhaps next time - main thing is you hopefully enjoyed the show!

    Cheers
    Drew

BTW - Enjoyed the Small Arms Museum before they "de-activate" the displays!!!! Absolutely criminal to destroy these historic artifacts:

Probably ordinary 8,8cm Flak 18 cases - used in both the Flak 18 AA gun and the KwK 36 gun used in the Tiger E. To ID them as tank gun cases, they’d need to have the original stencilling intact on the side and / or a C/22 primer that had never been removed. The 8,8cm KwK 43 cartridge case used in the Tiger B is very different.
