Hello all,
Just a quick question: Would it be correct to fit a German HZ 14 Fb fuze to a First war Blue or Yellow cross gas shell (long version)?
I find a lot of references to EHZ 16, etc, but not a lot in the way of HZ14's.
Many thanks in advance!
According to this extract - used with a long gas shell with a "green cross":
Green cross : HZ14 - HZ14 Fb - EHZ17
Green cross 3 = Yellow cross 1 : EHZ17
Yellow cross : EHZ17
Blue cross : EHZ16 - HZ16 - EHZ17 (rare HZ05GR).
Any Live or Dug ordnance shown by me has been disposed of by EOD personnel .
Many thanks chaps, that clears that one up.
Much appreciated.
Cheers
Any of you know what the Gr. Z. 14 stern o.Zdlg is used on? cap is steel , painted red.
Not same subject, Gr14 n/A was used on chemical shells 10cm, 13cm, 15cm (this post is about 10.5cm long).

Yeah, but was just wondering & thought I’d ask.
In attachment the fuze I initially asked the question for :

Ok, other subject.
Not common fuze, nice example in very good condition, "Grz14 Ohne Zundladung" (détonator removed).
As far as I know, this fuze is used with 15cm incendiary shell.
Red paint (and star or circle) stands for reinforced primer.
