Picked this up today. It’s rather grubby and there are some kinks to get out of the neck, but it hasn’t suffered the attentions of a ‘trench artist’.
I can see it was inspected in Jan 1912 and it has an Aug 1911 primer and both were made at Cossipore. What else can you tell me about it?
Possibly a slightly daft question; but is there any possibility that it could have been used on the Western Front in WWI?
