    No28 markings

Freshly removed from the 1000lbs GP. Any interpretation of the markings is appreciated!

Probably the manufacturer forgot a few full stops .... "L.E.C.CO.", that means "Lake Erie Chemical Company", Cleveland, Ohio; a Smith&Wesson subsidiary.

    Land-Lease supply.

Yesterday we RSPd another 1000 pdr with 28 pistol and .025 sec det found 20 meters from the first one, but on this fuze there was no stamps. I will post some more detailed photos of it tomorrow. Must say that second fuze was fully operational with striker moving easily in the fuze body.

Detonator filled and more than likely made by ICI/A - ICI Ardeer, Scotland.
