Chinese Type 19 grenade, or maybe 1960s updated version.

From this Chinese Ordnance manual this type of grenade is identified as a 19th year type. It could be a 1960's version, provided to the North Vietnamese. It was in the hands of an EOD man, holes drilled with the word "Empty" stamped to the base. A scarce type. I believe the earlier type, WWII era version had a cap similar to the Type 23. If anybody could comment I would appreciate it. I seriously collect inert Japanese and Chinese ordnance.

This specimen has the number "45" stamped to the top. the fuze housing and cap are made of aluminum, the pullcord, string and empty igniter is intact inside. Unusually complete. Safe and Inert. not for sale. Looking for WWII era INERT Chinese ordnance.
