I show an inert No4 Mk1 Bomb Detonator. It uses 28ga cartridge base anvil type.
The head is painted white and the cap is fired. This means instantaneous.
It is used with 112lb RL, GP Bombs 120lb, 250lb and 500lbs.
It is 84mm long.
The other item is supposed to be a L7A7 inert Detonator. What is it used in?

Attached image for you to compare with your item of the L5A1 which is/was the drill version of the L1A1 detonator demolition, my docs are old now 2004 so i guess newer mark of these are out now

Thanks Spotter for the comments and detonator info. My item is different to the L15A1.
I think mine must be a L7A1. I possibly mis-read a hooked one as a seven when reading written identification ?
The polythene plug is longer in my example and has only about 10mm clear-space from plug to end of rubber.

Dimensions are: 59.4mm long. 6.4mm diam. Rubber is 25.0mm total length. Oxford blue= DRILL so thanks.
