Here, one of our ancestors really loved stamping (and he used a nice font) ... "Bl" (blind) means inert filled - contained just lead balls and scrap to simulate weight.
Interesting - so did the British adapt to the use of the "Broad Arrow" in order to trick the Germans into thinking the British ammo was "inert" :tinysmile_twink_t2:
