Great Dealing with Gspragge

As always, a pleasure dealing with Gordon. Over the years I have learned much from him and received many packages. Last night I received word from Gordon that the latest package I am to get from him was almost done, as well as a follow up as to its status today. Having gone through a discectomy last Tuesday, the picture of the package in progress threw me in to fits of laughter punctuated by pain (you're not supposed to laugh that hard after back surgery :hahaha:). For those who have never received a package from him, they are works of art since he has a, let we say, distrust of any delivery system. I'm posting these pictures with his permission since he says, "I have a reputation to uphold". Thank you very much, Gordon, for the item and the much needed levity. Cheers, Bruce.

P.S. He said the glue should be done drying today:wink:.

Adding this as the end product is to be shipped tomorrow. Once it arrives here (knocking on chip board) I have a fresh blade in my circular saw:xd:20191210_193021.jpg

He sent me instructions on how to open it today. I was thinking my circular saw or flex linear shape charges:xd:, but I'll try what he suggests first.

Got the package from Gordon today, all safe and sound (it would have taken a detonation to hurt it).
Here are the steps taken to open the package. I was going to laughingly include the pry bar, but it actually came in handy:wink:. Total package weight was 20lbs, 4.934lbs of that were the package. Great packing, Gordon (as usual!!!). I'm pleased to get the round, and quoting the seagulls from finding Nemo, "Mine....mine..mine, mine, mine, mineminemineminemineminemine...".:xd:

(For some odd reason, I can't get the pix to line up right. Second line view right to left, then first line, then third...)

By way of comparison, I received a 1921 3pdr Canadian casing from QC (Quebec?) also today merely packaged in bubble wrap and one box.
