    German postcard of French Incendiary

Odd looking thing, with a beehive time fuze ~

Original German WW1 photo in size of a postcard (Real photo postcard).
On the reverse side is written with ink (translation):
"World War 1916 - My Sweetheart, this photo shows a French fire bomb."

    Interesting device, never seen before.
The canister seems to be fuzed with artillery french fuze 22-31 T&P model 1897.
I know this fuze was also used for mortar projectile (propaganda late ww1).
