20mm Becker Headstamps

I recently did a trade with a Militaria site. I ended up with my
new WW1 20mm collection of three Becker rounds.
So for general information I'm posting their images (better than my attempted images)
in case there is anything unusual, which I doubt.

Well done Gordon, finding one is hard enough. I bought a HE one from a Canadian site about 15 years ago and that was the last one i had the chance to purchase, still looking for the othe varients.

Hello Gordon,

very nice find. Never seen one over here. The VM stamped projectile is made by the "Vogtländische Maschinenfabrik" at Plauen, Saxony just 50 km from me.

Some history about this company is on the following site:

https://myntransportblog.com/2014/11/22/vomag-vogtlandische-maschinenfabrik-plauen-germany/

The site is mentioning that during 1st WW "Fliegergeschosse" were produced in the Vomag which can be translated as "aircraft-projectiles" so I guess they mean the 2 cm Becker's.

Following picture also stolen there:

Thanks; I didn't think they were all that uncommon except in Canada of course. I did find two of the flat
topped kind some years back.
I have managed to take an image of the markings on the body of the PD and pointed projectiles.
The flat nosed one has the same makers mark as the pointed one.
