Hi all,
I'm hoping the Mills grenade buffs can help me. I have been researching the different makers of Mills No36 base plugs that I have found over the last decade at an old WW2 grenade range. I have looked at the Mills grenades website, and the useful search bar on BOCN, and I now have 6 makers of base plugs outstanding.
'AF', which I believe might be A. Fenwicks of Birmingham. (?). (Also is made of brass).
'ORB',
'K', - Not a K with stars for A. Kenrick, but just a straight forward 'K'.
'APDP',
'HLD',
and 'HD', or 'HB', can't tell with the condition.
Many thanks, indeed.
Best regards,
Simon
