Hungarian 20-MM

Here is a Hungarian 20-MM. I think these were discussed before.
What I am interested in is the differences in the headstamps and the markings.
All the same round, different stamps.
Are the 321, 268, 265 and 266 on these head stamps the manufacturer?

Here is a different one …
Same question, which are the manufacturer markings?

Hi Joe,
manufacturer identification is the H and A over each other. It is the Czepel ammunition plant.
The numbers you mention are IMHO lot numbers.

On the second round I am not 100% sure but I believe the P stands for Polte.

Hmm, would not be surprised if it is Dutch. I have a theory but not proven that these cases, with S in triangle AND a number 2 at 3-o-clock could be Polte export for The Netherlands. Have been trying to find proof for a long time, but not found. The Dutch used both the 20x105B (aircraft gun Model 1937) and the 20x138B as anti-tank gun and as AA. Also the color of the projectile is often thought of as Dutch. In any way, a very rare round!

What about this 20x105B case? Primer looks odd , and only markings are P M , no L204 or anything so , is this PzB ? & what projectiles should it be used with ?

Probably a very early Polte development, maybe in the experimental phase.

Does anyone have anything on the German 20-MM? I had it listed as Hungarian? But given the headstamp, is it Hungarian made by Polte?

Joe

The 20x105B, manufactured by Polte, is for export to the Netherlands for use in the S18-350 aircraft weapon and S18-100 AT rifle. By the way, the bullet is an APHE-T.
