50 mm Mortar Shell?

Hello, what is this shell, looks like a small mortar shell, 50mm, length is 148mm. Absolutely no marks whatsoever. Not certain the colour is original, however, the projo is in pristine condition, so may be.

Hello,
It's one of the 3 versions of french mortar shell Mle 39 F.A, for little french mortar 50 mm Mle 37 Brant.
The fuze is "Fusée détonateur percutante 19/23 mm RSA Mle 26. Remondy Sans Armement. Your Fuze isn't complete.
2 color existed : All yellow except forcing belt for tolite (TNT) explosif
Red upper part and yellow lower part, except forcing belt for Nitrate explosifs.(NX, S.C

I have one of these, but the body looks to be all brass, not pictured, but close to the one on the far left in the above photo. Cool seeing the other types.
