On request, the transit box for the 2” mortar.
I know, buy the item, not the story but this one comes from Blainville sur Orne, a smaller town next to Benouville in Normandy.
I got this box for about 25 years now and I never saw a second one, IMO this must be scarce
Nice box, and nice contents label to the inner lid, Are you allowed to own a deactivated mortar to put in it in Belgium? I know the law is strict over there.

Thats a pity, I would like one myself but the deactivation procedure means the mortar gets welded and made safe so not very original. At least they can't ban boxes!
