British issue, but Australian designed and manufactured. (F1A1) ME - Maribyrnong, Victoria.

The complete kit reference is L26A1 or L26A2. The L26A2 Kit differs from the L26A1 in that the Initiator Flash L3A3 has been replaced by the Initiator Flash L3A4

yes I would also like one of those.i have 6 different versions of this switch
I would even be happy with a nice empty tin,you guys in UK must see them around
 
I took part in the scrapping of hundreds of these in the early 1980s. They were deemed surplus to requirement.
 
here are my different versions of the F1 switch and also the couplers or snouts.still looking for the british L5 and another version of the US M142,a metal tin with ink stamp marking in yellow

slick,your right about the roll of wire,once you take it out its almost impossible to get it back in again.i would like to get a nice example of the tin you show as I don't have one
sgtlyn,I didn't know about the Norwegian ones,never seen them before
 
here are a couple more to look for, Korean versions. Don't expect these will be easy to find............

very nice,is the manufacturer still ME (marybigong?) I cant even say the name of that place let alone spell it!) in Australia.they must have a good patent/copyright if they are the only ones making it
