    A friend send me this Pic, has only this one. But for what or what is that part?

    cant quite make out the ref no but if its 6H its listed as automatic pilot mk4 mk8 may be totally wrong like but hope this helps

    It looks like a 1920s telephone without the mouthpiece which should be hanging on the hook.
    Hanging it on the hook also ends the call.

    As Tomsk has already pointed out its a mk 8 Autopilot. Its Air Ministry Equipment Codes is 6H and its Stores Reference Code is 2001

    6H = Aircraft Automatic Pilots, mks 4 and 8, Major Components, Servicing Spares and Tools

    LCplCombat ex RAOC Supply Controller
